Guangxi Hechi Farm Stays Boost Rural Tourism

Dahua Yao autonomous county in Hechi is a popular tourist destination in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.

Taking advantage of the county's unique topography and natural beauty, the Dahua government has adopted a strategy combining farm-related industries with tourism, establishing sightseeing farm gardens and five entertaining farm stays to boost tourism in the region.

Statistics from the local tourism bureau reveal that Dahua welcomed 1.18 million visitors in 2016, a 20 percent year on year increase earning 1.41 billion yuan ($ 205million) for the county.
