Binyang (Near Nanning) Opens Bullet Train to Liuzhou in Guangxi

According to the Nanning Railway Bureau, Guangxi’s Binyang High-speed Rail Station officially opened to the public on May 6. The opening of the station means that the time from Liuzhou to Binyang has been shortened by 50 minutes.

The Binyang High-speed Rail Station is located in the northwest of Litang town in Binyang county. It is an important area for Guangxi’s railway transportation and a significant transfer station of the Nanning-Guangzhou High-speed Railway and Liuzhou-Nanning Intercity High-speed Rail.

The opening of the station now allows passengers to take bullet trains from Binyang to the six prefecture-level cities of Laibin, Liuzhou, Guilin, Hezhou, Guigang and Wuzhou. The two bullet trains travelling from Laibin to Liuzhou every day are the D8202 (08:10 – 09:00) and D8238 (13:17 – 14:13).

Binyang has become Guangxi’s 11th county to receive a high-speed rail line and bullet trains, after Hepu, Luzhai, Yongfu, Xing’an, Quanzhou, Guiping, Pingnan, Tengxian, Sanjiang and Gongcheng. More bullet trains will stop at the Binyang High-speed Rail Station to further satisfy the travelling demand of local residents.
