Guilin & Yangshuo Attractions
Diecai Park
Situated in the northeast of Guilin by the Li River, Diecai Hill(Folded Brocade Hill) is one of the most popular local attractions, a place known for its amazing scenery and stone carvings. It gained its name because of the resemblance of its rock formations, piled up layer upon layer on each other, to folded brocade.
Fubo Hill
Fubo Hill(Wave-Subduing Hill) is 120 meters long, 60 meters wide and 213 meters high. It stands solitarily in the northeast of the city and on west bank of Li River with half of the hill stretching into the river. Waves run back wherever they meet the blocks, hence the name "wave-subduing Hill".
Impressions of Liu San Jie
This is the world largest natural theater which utilizes the waters of the Li River as its stage, with twelve mist shrouded hills and the heavens as its backdrop. Mist, rain, moonlight, the hills and their inverted reflections in the river all become the ever-changing natural background. Its auditorium is housed on the natural islands of the river with the audience standing on the designed terraces, surrounded by green plants.
Merryland Theme Park
Merryland Theme Park is fun for all ages, and has something for everyone. The park has many themed areas. Each themed area's architecture, employees'costuming, shows, and food are designed to match their respective areas.
Moon Hill
The Moon Hill in Yangshuo is a huge slice of rock with a round hole in its center. There is a 800 steps marble paved mountain path, in which visitors can reach the hill top. At various angles it resembles from the new moon to a full moon. The rock measures approximate 380 m (height) by 400 m (length) by 220 m (width).
San Jiang Village
The ancient Sanjiang Dong villages have changed little over the past few centuries with many buildings dating back hundreds of years. The village is populated by the Dong Minority Group making its architecture unique. It is a great way to witness China's Ethnic minority Groups culture and history firsthand.
Seven Star Park
Seven Star Park (Qi xing Gongyuan), sits east side of the Li River, 1 kilometer from the city center. Deriving its name from a cave called Seven-Star Cave and features fantastic hills, rivers, caves, rocks, stone tablets and the ancient floral bridge.
Shangri-la
Yangshuo Shangri-la theme park is located on the side of road. Shangri-La is an ideal world presented for display but it also includes the real world of the enchanting Yangshuo County mountains water, fields and traditional customs.
