Guangxi Bama Crystal Palace to Build into China 5A Scenic Spot

The Bama Yao autonomous county has recently started the construction of Minghe River – Crystal Palace according to the standards of a national 5A-level scenic spot.

The Minghe River and the Crystal Palace are located at Nashe village in Hechi's Bama county. The Minghe River has a naturally formed shape resembling the Chinese character "命" and the picture of the river is always used in the tourism publicity of Hechi and Guangxi. The Crystal Palace was recognized by the National Geographic Magazine as one of the world's most beautiful natural crystal karst caves in 2010.

The Minghe River – Crystal Palace Scenic Spot can attract more than 300,000 tourists every year.

The construction of the Minghe River-Crystal Palace Scenic Spot is one of Guangxi's main tasks this year in tourism development. The project has a total investment of 700 million yuan ($112.77 million). With nearly three years' infrastructure construction from 2015 to 2017, the local government is striving to pass the acceptance checks before the end of 2017.
