'Liu Sanjie Cup' Bridge Invitational Tournament Kicks off in Yizhou

The "Liu Sanjie Cup" Bridge Invitational Tournament sponsored by the Guangxi Bridge Association kicked off in Yizhou, a county-level city of Hechi, on Oct 10.

Nearly 200 contestants and 40 teams from 12 provinces such as Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Henan and Guangxi participated in the competition.

The tournament included a public team match and a senior group competition and ended on Oct 12. Bridge is not only a leisure activity but also a competitive sport. It has been included in the Olympic Games as a competitive sports category.

As one of the events in the sixth Liu Sanjie Cultural Tourism Festival, the bridge tournament fosters communication among bridge lovers and helps promote Yizhou's tourism and cultural resources.
