Fangchenggang Attracts 38b Yuan at Top 500 Enterprises Forum

Fangchenggang signed four contracts worth 38.7 billion yuan ($6.04 billion) at the 2015 China's Top 500 Enterprises Summit Forum held in Nanning, Guangxi, on Aug 22-28.

The contracts Fangchenggang signed account for one sixth of total investment deals Guangxi inked at the Forum. The four projects will be able to add 150 billion yuan industrial output value to Fangchenggang once they become operational.

About 1,150 delegates attended China's Top 500 Enterprises Summit Forum, including nearly 600 senior officials from national ministries, domestic and foreign experts and representatives from top 500 enterprises in China, as well as representatives from 180 media organizations. Guangxi was represented by a delegation of 250 officials and other representatives.

Wang Jiming, an academic at the Chinese Academy of Engineering and vice chairman of China Enterprise Confederation, announced the lists of 2015 China's Top 500 Enterprises, China's Top 500 Manufacturing Enterprises, China's Top 500 Service Industry Enterprises and China's Top 100 Multinational Corporations.

On the list of Top 500 Enterprises, Sinopec remained at the top, followed by PetroChina, State Grid Corporation of China, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China Construction Bank, China State Construction Engineering Corporation, The Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China and Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation.

Six enterprises from the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region were included in the list of Top 500 Enterprises. They are Guangxi Investment Group, Guangxi Construction Engineering Group, Guangxi Liuzhou Iron and Steel (Group) Company, Guangxi Beibu Gulf International Port Group, Guangxi Yuchai Group and Guangxi Communications Investment Group.
