Guilin Low-flying Helicopter Tour offers Bird's-eye View of Li River

Fly with a helicopter to get a bird's-eye view of Li River comes true in 2015 for tourists to enjoy the picturesque scenery of Guilin mountains and rivers. The low-altitude helicopter tourism project start with the first four aircrafts, including two Robinson R44 helicopters and two Sikorsky S-76 helicopters for sightseeing.

China has been working to open low-altitude airspace to more general aviation aircraft like helicopters and private jets since 2013. In Guilin the landing airport construction is launched for the city introduce 16 Cessna 208 Caravan and 4 American Bell 407 by 2017.  

The low-flying helicopter sightseeing tour will last about 30 minuters along the Li River and cost abut 1,000 yuan per person. Beside the air route along the Li River from Guilin and Yangshuo. Other new routes for example from Xing'an to Guilin is planning.

As everyone known, there will several ways for sightseeing - cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo, bamboo rafting between Yangdi and Xinping, and hiking or biking along the river bank. Now low-flying helicopter tour give a new angle of air view of Guilin.
